April is “Month of the Military Child”

We are excited to be honoring our Camarena Military children and their families.  Please mark your calendar for the following events:

Wear purple to celebrate our Military Kids!  Purple is a combination of Army

green, Marine red, and Coast Guard, Air Force and Navy blue.

Friday, April 14, 7:45AM-8:15AM= MILITARY FAMILY BREAKFAST-

All military families are invited to our school auditorium to enjoy some breakfast goodies and have a chance to meet other military families.

Friday, April 21= “Crazy Camo” SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY- WEAR CAMOUFLAGE!

Friday, April 28=“Proud to be an American”  SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY- WEAR RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!

Friday, April 28, 6PM-7:30PM= MILITARY FAMILY GAME NIGHT!

In addition to various board games set up in the auditorium, our Student Military Ambassadors have some fun activities planned!  Dinner  will be provided!

Ongoing throughout the month of April- have your student(s) bring in a family picture (preferably with the service member in uniform) to display on our bulletin board in the auditorium.  Pictures should be brought to class, where students will have a chance to share them, along with a few thoughts/facts about being a military child.  Then they will be hung on our wall of pride for all to see.
